The Framework for Teaching Evaluation Instrument
(The Danielson Group, 2011)

An enhanced Framework for Teaching, created specifically to address the need to accurately assess teaching practice; The Framework for Teaching Evaluation Instrument follows the same architecture (4 domains and 22 components) as the 2007 Enhancing Professional Practice.   • tighter rubric language written at the component level;
  • critical attributes for each level of performance, providing essential guidance for observers and evaluators;
  • possible examples for each level of performance that illustrate the meanings of the rubric language.
